GHG accounting captures relevant consumption of energy sources and converts them into estimated Co2e (Carbon Dioxide equivalents. Its scope differs from accounting , primarily in terms of the entity boundaries and how it captures the emissions. For example, for under GHG accounting, employee commuting is accounted for as part of the extended scope, whereas in conventional Accounting, it is ignored
